| In 1971 the company began providing diecutting services to local merchants in the corrugated and folding carton sectors of packaging. This effort led to regional growth that influenced further expansion of our diecutting business.
By 1984 Cowlitz Container had become a regional supplier in the packaging market and began to expand into broader diecut applications. Cutting of chip board, gasket material and providing bindery support proved to be successful and brought further expansion in 1988 to a 22,000 square foot manufacturing faculty.
Throughout the 1990’s Cowlitz continued to broaden our capabilities by adding laminating and sheeting services, and cutting of presentation folders with folding and glueing services offered.
In 2002 the company successfully took on the process of cutting high impact plastics used in the graphic signage, medical OEM and auto industries.
Cowlitz Container today is recognized as a regional leader with broad spectrum capabilities in the diecutting industry. We continue to be the most diverse, diecutting specific supplier serving a multitude of industries as a dependable quality supplier that truly fits a “category of one” status. |
